We all have the same amount of time, but how do you spend yours?

Do you manage your time effectively? Can you honestly say that you make the best use of your time?

When asked most people will say, from my experience; ‘no, but that’s because I don’t have enough time’.

Consider this; we all have the same amount of time, but the important thing is how we spend it.

If frustration and lack of fulfilment is creeping in and you realise that your time is not being well spent, perhaps it is time for change.

What does ‘time well spent’ mean to you? We all have different values and beliefs so only you can say what spending time well will be like, look like and feel like for you.

Often the critical question to ask yourself is ‘what would give me enough time?’

Invariably this stumps people.

What will come up is a whole list of things that take up too much of your time and which you may resent doing. This then can create negative thoughts and people will often feel overwhelmed, or procrastinate even more; ‘if only I didn’t have to . . . . ‘ – does this sound like you?

Obviously, we all have commitments and/or obligations.

We may have young children, a job (or two), an elderly parent, or we may be a single parent or have a serious health condition, but there are solutions to the problem of not having enough time. It does not have to be an insurmountable problem.
